I would like to highlight a few facts that have been verified and documented:

The site is safe for construction. Numerous expert assessments have been carried out by independent geologists, who categorically confirm that the site is not located in a landslide zone.

History of the property. Even before 1944, there was a military unit on this site, and later, a military construction unit KECH. In the 1980s, there were almost no trees here. The current vegetation has grown mainly on its own over the last 35 years.

Legal actions. The site was cleared with the appropriate permission from the district mayor's office. No protected species have been destroyed. Several coniferous trees planted by the unit's employees have been preserved.

There is no environmental risk. The suggestion of "massive deforestation" is false—there has never been a forest here. If there had been, it would have been registered in the forestry records. Anyone can come and see for themselves.

Natura 2000. The property is located in an area where only certain activities, such as the construction of wind turbines, are restricted. Residential construction is not prohibited, and this can be verified by anyone.

Traffic and congestion. Every year, from 2020 to 2025, according to NSI data, the Municipality of Varna issues building permits for between 500,000 and 800,000 square meters of housing, of which 250,000 to 300,000 are in the Galata and Asparuhovo areas. The Sun City Residence project is planned to be implemented in stages over a period of 10 years – this is an average of about 20,000 square meters per year, or less than 10% of residential construction in the southern part of Varna and less than 5% of the total in the city for the same period.

I understand that there are people who do not want new construction in Varna. But the city is developing – the population has grown 17 times since the Liberation. There are many examples – the Chaika neighbourhood was built on the vineyards and gardens of the people of Varna, and today it is one of the most desirable places to live.

Unfortunately, in recent weeks, we have encountered deliberate resistance that has nothing to do with the public interest.

A notary who built his own apartment building in the neighbourhood has repeatedly appealed the project, presenting himself as a "vigilant citizen" when in fact he is protecting his personal view. I believe that everyone has the right to seek their rights, but not to disguise private interests as public ones. In this case, we will seek justice through the courts.

Some of the people who present themselves as environmentalists also use the issue for their own purposes. I am convinced that true care for nature does not include misleading statements and pressure on investors. I am sure that the facts will speak louder than any manipulation.

I have been in construction for 35 years. I have never been involved in any questionable activities. I support over 500 jobs, pay salaries and taxes regularly, and support public and charitable causes in Varna.

My goal is clear – to create a modern, high-quality project that will bring value to the city and the Galata district. I believe that the truth always comes out, and I am convinced that this will happen now as well.
